As mentioned earlier, the Groundwater hearing will be heard on May 24 at 10:30am, room 263. Attached is the confirmed agenda. Please remember you are limited to 2 minutes for public comment. Santa Fe Voices: Poems of New Mexico – Saturday, April 1 at 2:00 P.M.
In observance of National Poetry Month, Charles Sullivan, author and editor of America in Poetry and other volumes, reads and discusses selections of poems from his book, Santa Fe Voices: Poems of New Mexico. An "Easterner," Sullivan wrote the poems during visits to "The Land of Enchantment," where he spoke with its people and listened to and imagined their stories.
Merced Branch Library Book Club – Tuesday, April 4 at 7:00 P.M.
Join us for a lively discussion of Helen Simonson's novel, The Summer Before the War. The Merced Library Book Club meets bimonthly, and new members are always welcome. For more information, contact library staff at (415) 355-2825.
*Jubilee Immigration Advocates – Wednesday, April 5 at 7:00 P.M.
Jubilee Immigration Advocates is a nonprofit organization that provides a mix of pro bono and affordable legal representation on a wide range of immigration matters. At this presentation, an attorney will discuss several topics including the basics of how you immigrate and get legal status, immigrant legal rights regardless of status, and how to protect yourself and your family, including your children, if you are undocumented. A question-and-answer session will follow. *This program is supported by Friends of the San Francisco Public Library.
Knitting Circle – Tuesday, April 11 at 6:00 P.M.
